May 8th

Renee and Patrick celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Grey Rock Mansion in Pikesville Maryland. These newlyweds mesh together so wonderfully. From day one, I knew working with Renee and Pat was going to be a great experience. They are genuine and fun loving people who know how to put on a great dance party. All the best to the Newlyweds!

Rachel Rush Cakes

On May 1st 2010 one of my dearest friends Trina, married the amazing Joe Smith. Not only am I super excited she is hitched to an amazing man, Trina and I are now both Smiths. Although we are not sisters by blood we have always been in friendship and now even more so in name : ) So continuing on with the name game, another very dear friend of mine named Rachel (she isn't a Smith she is a Miller) made Trina and Joe an unbelievable dessert spread of cupcakes and wedding cake. I knew she was good but I was floored at how great the desserts looked and even more by how they tasted! You can check out more of her cakes on her blog: http://rachelrushcakes.blogspot.com/

If you are having any kind of event that includes a cake or even cupcakes, shoot me an email and I'll hook you guys up! email@rachelsmithphoto.com

Andrea and Brian celebrated their wedding at Swan Harbor Farm. The forecast called for rain all weekend but the sun manged to sunshine almost all day. The first drop of rain was fell during the last song which makes me believe, when planning a wedding, it really is all about timing : ) Andrea's sister and Brian's brother both gave hysterical toasts. I'm putting them in the wedding history book as two of the most entertaining speeches. Photographing Andrea and Brian was a very unique experience. Andrea is a fabulous photographer and Brian must be use to being Andrea's subject because they both were such naturals. But what I really think made them so easy to shoot was because they fit together seamlessly. Their strong bond was very apparent and capturing this was a great experience. All the best to the newlyweds!
