Keeping it Cool on a Hot Wedding Day

Mary Lou and Michael Dembik took the plunge July 17th on what we all believed to be the most humid and hot day yet in 2009. As far as I'm concerned, the most humid wedding I have shot thus far. But despite the relentless sticky air, Mary Lou and Michael kept their cool and gave me the chance to capture some great photos of them and their wedding party.

Mary Lou and Michael met at a Legwarmers show...I think it's safe to say it was a good idea leaving the 80's attire at home. Any extra spandex, scrunched socks or legwarmers would have made the heat unbearable and caused this couple to take a dive off the pier : ) Congrats you guys! I had a wonderful time being part of your big day.

New Beginnings, New Babies, New Blogs : )

Today I had a very exciting morning spending time with Maureen, Tommy and latest family edition, Ryan. I had the honor of photographing Maureen and Tommy's wedding back in 2006 and this morning was thrilled to meet their first born baby boy.

At 10 weeks Ryan is already quite the adorable model. He is now showing off his flirty smile that in no time will be making the girls go gaga over him.

Ryan was born taller than the average and Mom knows he is going to be a big boy in no time, so for now she steals as many kisses as she can. Dad will have to invest in a good pair of boxing gloves because Ryan is already really good at holding a tight fist.

I can't wait to see Ryan again when he learns to crawl and can chase the cat : )
